[For that second, Dick things he's misjudged, that he's made a mistake and probably ruined the ease that was building between them, and he's about to draw away and apologise... but then Conner is kissing him back, pulling him in with strong arms (and yea, it's a cliche but sometimes Dick likes a little cliche, and maybe he does occasionally want a big strong man around) and he's kissing him back. It's not a mistake.
