[It's B. He genuinely likes it. Dick will probably get called later on by someone on the Team wanting to know why he's passing his "weird pizza habits" onto the Kryptonian clone. As if they haven't done some corrupting of their own.]

Guess we were both too busy for a solo pizza night.

[It's meant in jest, but it's also true.]

Guess we were. Glad we made time tonight.

[Or rather, glad they both stopped wallowing in self-pity tonight]

This means I'm going to think of you whenever I see cornflakes.

[He might be a grump at times, but he's kind of impressionable. Besides, Conner likes remembering Dick.]

I'll have to think... don't worry, next date I'll have a list, we can work our way through it while we're trying out restaurants.

[He liked that idea, exploring new things with Conner, getting to see stuff he took for granted through fresh eyes. That and making plans for the future was a lot more hopeful than he'd been since the breakup until now]

Better make sure some of those can be done during missions. Or traveling.

[It consumed a lot of their time after all. But he wants to try things outside of hero work too. Having a list is a good idea.

Having a list of things to do with Dick? Even better.]

I'll bear that in mind while I'm writing it.

[Things he could do on his own, too, that they could talk about later.]

[That'd be a nice inclusion. There are times when Conner wants to be alone. He's not as chummy as others on the Team. Improving though.]

[Conner having additions for the list is a great idea. He hesitates for a moment before saying what's on his mind, his tone sincere]

And just... if the whole dating part of this doesn't work out, whatever happens I'll make sure we complete the list, I promise.

[He couldn't put everything on Dick. He's too proud and independent for that, despite his current semi-shut-in situation.

The sudden promise, however, earns a softer expression.]

Thanks. But date or not, don't go crazy with the list. I don't want it to turn into a chore for either of us.

[When a "want to" turns into a "have to", the charm is quickly gone.]

I'll keep it simple.

[It's not like they can't add to it, or make a new list, later down the line. Goals that will keep them going but not be overwhelming, that's the trick.

He finishes up his latest slice of pizza looks speculatively at the box before nodding to himself]

Okay, I'm stuffed, you can have the rest.

For starters.

[They'll probably add to it as they get closer to finishing it. There's no way they can do everything. But it's an nice thought and he's already looking forward to it.

Between the two of them, they did good work on two pizzas.]

Got one left over.

[Because he's going to polish off the last of the second one.]

You can have it, or I'll save it as leftovers.

[And once Conner's done eating, there's nothing in the way of some good old fashioned cuddling for the rest of the movie]

Save it.

[Big appetite as he's got, Conner knows he can't put down another pizza. They'll have it in the morning or something.

He finishes the last piece, folds the two empty boxes up, and sets them beside the third one. Then settles back on the couch beside Dick.]

[Once the pizza is out of the way Dick pauses for just a moment as he calculates the best way of doing this. Eventually, he grabs Conner's arm and guides it around his shoulders so he can lean in, resting his head on Conner's chest.]

Much better.

[Conner's just getting comfortable when there's suddenly a hand grabbing his arm and he's getting it pulled up and around and... oh.]

Get comfortable?

[It brings a small smile regardless and he tucks his arm about Dick's shoulders, hand resting on his upper arm, as the other hero rests on his chest.]

Yeah.

[And Dick was going tease him about being forward for wanting to spend the night.]

[Yea he probably should have asked before he did it, but who doesn't love a bit of cuddling? Well, lots of people, but Dick isn't one of them.]

[Conner's pretty standoffish. Well... had been. He still gets his moody broody periods, but he's a lot easier with the touching now. Cuddling, however...

Takes a special person. Dick's one of the few special people Conner doesn't mind being this close with.]

Yeah. [More than okay. It's comfortable.] Don't get a crick in your neck.

[Just to tease him.]

[Dick snorts in amusement, but he takes the joke as extra confirmation that Conner really is fine with this. It is a date after all, right? A little affection is reasonable

Actually this is one of the best evenings he's had for a while]

[He can second the notion. Conner's feeling more comfortable than he's felt in a while, some of the heaviness drifting away as he relaxes and enjoys the movie.

But he does take a momentary downtime in the film to silently encourage Dick to sit up for a second... and then swings his legs up onto the couch so they can both stretch out together, lying down again and letting his friend rest on his chest once more.

Arm around his shoulder again.]

[For a second Dick almost pouts when Conner tries to get him to move, but he does as asked. The pout melts away when he realises what Conner's actually aiming for, and then he's more than happy to shift around so they're both lying comfortably.]

Okay but you can't blame me if I fall asleep like this.

[He's used to sitting in front of the TV like a sentinel. This feels a lot better. The couch is actually long enough to be all extended without having his head or feet hanging over the headrest.

There's something to be said with a warm presence resting with him.]

I don't think I'll complain.

[He grins, turning his attention back to the movie. Or mostly, anyway. He's also thinking about what a good idea this was, how much easier he's going to sleep tonight.

And right now, because as it turns out he wasn't entirely joking - it's not much longer before he's starting to doze off despite the action on screen]

[Conner feels the change in Dick's breathing. From the normal rhythm of wakeful breath to the slower sort that's telling of someone heading towards sleep.

He doesn't bother moving or waking him. The movie's almost over anyways, and if Dick's going to drift off to it, that's fine. Conner's comfortable. It's nice having a friend with him right now.

As far as dates go... this one is needed. And healing. He's comfortable enough to rest beneath the other hero, glad to be with him.]
